Xeikon has confirmed its participation at drupa 2024.

Lier, Belgium, – 20 December 2023 – Xeikon, a leading supplier of digital production solutions for the packaging and graphic arts industries, has confirmed its participation at drupa 2024.

1,400 exhibitors from 50 nations will fill all 18 halls at the Düsseldorf trade fair grounds for drupa 2024, the world's largest trade fair for the printing and packaging industry.

Xeikon is set to showcase its latest innovations and cutting-edge solutions at drupa 2024. The company's presence at this renowned industry event underscores its dedication to providing customers with state-of-the-art technology that meets the evolving needs of the printing and packaging industry.

“Let’s be honest about it, much like many other industries, the print industry has weathered a turbulent period that has expedited the push towards digitization. This shift is in response to emerging trends that demand greater agility, a commitment to sustainable solutions, and heightened efficiency," says Filip Weymans, Vice President of Marketing at Xeikon.

Current investments in printing equipment should extend beyond mere considerations of technical specifications. Printers and converters are now seeking evidence-based, sustainable solutions, recognizing their pivotal role in future-proof investments. Across all four markets, Xeikon has achieved significant progress, introducing de-inkable print technologies, environmentally conscious LED inks that mitigate hazardous waste and lower energy consumption, innovative toner formulations unlocking emerging markets like paper-based flexible packaging, and toner compositions utilizing over 60% recycled content.

At drupa, Xeikon will demonstrate unique solutions in the following key markets:

  • Flexible Packaging: Xeikon TITON solution ensures food safety even when printing on paper-based flexible packaging, meeting stringent requirements for temperature, chemical, and mechanical resistance within these applications.

  • Corrugated Packaging: Xeikon’s IDERA technology delivers a food-safe solution within the post-print corrugated environment:

  • Graphic arts: Cost-effective technology for medium-run commercial print with Xeikon SIRIUS.

  • Label Printing: Delivering sought-after sustainable benefits, both Panther (UV Inkjet) and LION (Dry Toner) technologies excel in speed and quality, offering two complementary processes.

“We are proud to have Xeikon on board, a pioneer in digital printing that has been present at drupa since its inception”, says Sabine Geldermann, Director drupa, Portfolio Print Technologies Messe Düsseldorf, “Their participation reaffirms the significance of drupa as a platform and milestone event for the printing industry, attracting industry leaders like Xeikon who recognize the unique value and opportunities the event has to offer.”
