Upload a print job and get a fully digitally produced sample on five different substrate.
How does digital printing stack up against traditional flexographic printing? We could tell you how our digital presses deliver true 1200 dpi resolution which makes it literally impossible to discern any quality differences. Or how our dedicated dry toner score exceptionally well in terms of lightfastness so labels will shine on the shelf for months. But you want to see for yourself, don’t you? That’s why we have created www.seetheproof.com, where you simply upload your print job and we deliver a fully digitally produced sample on five different substrates plus a profound cost analysis. All for free.
Maybe you have read about the unmatched digital printing quality in this blog article. Or maybe you have heard a colleague talk about digital label presses. Before See The Proof was created, printers had to take our word when we told them about the exceptional quality of our digital presses. Now, we can show them.
We print all See The Proof uploads at the end of the month. Expect your labels to arrive by the second week of the month following your order. The prints give you a first impression of the quality that can be achieved. Any difference with your originals, or with the prints you are used to, are accounted for in the reports you received along with the samples.
As a print converter you want cost transparency. And that is exactly what See The Proof delivers. Not only can you see your label, we also provide a business analysis sheet telling you exactly what the print job costs printed on our machines. This is what you get:
So the job analysis sheet answers three very important questions:
Apart from letting converters experience digital quality firsthand, See The Proof offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate what a fully automated web-to-print workflow might look like and how it could work for your business.
At the core is the X-800, Xeikon’s digital front end. The print job is automatically prepared for printing on three different substrates. Xeikon ColorControl, the cloud based color management solution, generates the profiles, which the X-800 then uses to convert the PDF to the color gamut of the digital press.
As mentioned before, See The Proof prints your label on three different substrates. These are representative materials available from our partners that will give you a flavor of what is possible.
All jobs are printed with Xeikon’s ICE toner CMYK or CMYK white when relevant.
