Offline Prepress Station

Using the Offline Rip Prepress Station, customers can separate traditional and essential Prepress functionalities such as preflight, color management, trapping, imposition and final inspection from the digital printing process. It enables maximization of the existing investment in highly skilled human resources by making a clear distinction between prepress and production operators.

Once all decisions in prepress have been made and job is approved for production, the completed (ripped) jobs are sent transparently over the network to the digital press, where the operator only needs to worry about the printing process. Separating prepress and press functions based on the Offline Rip Prepress Station has the benefit of significantly increased productivity, which translates into more salable products at the end of each shift.
