Based on open standards, the X-800 can be integrated into any production environment. Its modular set-up allows users to manage different aspects of production in the most efficient manner possible. Pre-press functions, such as impositions and colour management, can be performed in the pre-press environment, allowing the press operator to focus on print quality. Modular architecture
The X-800’s powerful functions are provided in separate modules. All server modules can be installed on the X-800 streamer system or on one or more Windows-based platforms to form a personalised workflow. This modular architecture also allows you to separate the pre-press functionality from the press operation, which simplifies your operators’ tasks.
Scalable design
The X-800 boasts multi-threaded software, which makes it highly scalable. You can take advantage of multiple CPUs on one system or add additional offline RIP platforms to provide extra processing power if needed. The X-800 is compatible with all the Xeikon engines along the upgrade path, making it easy to grow your business.
Metadata
To enable tracking of your productions from print to delivery or to prevent counterfeiting, the X-800 allows dynamic addition of production data or other variable elements, such as sequential numbers or barcodes, to already RIP-ed documents.
