The Xeikon 6000 brings you the best in controlled and controllable print quality. Its smart paper conditioning sets you off to a great start, while a dedicated encoder ensures that images are always transferred onto the web in perfect colour synchronisation. The Xeikon 6000 comes equipped with an in-line densitometer and a second encoder, offering perfect front-to-back and automatic colour registration. The densitometer ensures that colour remains consistently vibrant on both sides of a page throughout a print run.
With the new Xeikon Form Adapted (FA) Toner, the Xeikon 6000 lets you achieve amazing richness and depth of colour. The Xeikon 6000 equipped with this toner is Pantone®-licensed, which opens up a world of possibilities to you and your customers. Backed by a 600 dpi resolution with variable density levels, it sets the tone for the digital colour printing market. It allows the gamut and depth of the Xeikon 6000’s unique digital colour image quality to come to full bloom on a wide variety of substrates up to 350 gsm. The Xeikon 6000 comes integrated with the X-800 Digital Front-End (DFE) which embeds powerful streamer technology that yields new levels of high-end variable data printing and makes for an extremely fast and responsive system. It is a truly open, scalable and modular system that combines powerful RIP features with print quality tools and collation capabilities. In addition, it allows simultaneous set-up, RIPping and printing, vastly increasing productivity. The X-800 DFE easily processes PostScript, PDF, PPML and PPML/VDX files at high speed and is designed to support future JDF-based digital printing job tickets.
The optional Xeikon IPDS Controller transforms the Xeikon 6000 into a next-generation transactional printing solution that produces fully personalised colour documents. Combine the Xeikon IPDS Controller and the X-800 DFE with the Xeikon 6000 and you have just opened the door to transforming classical transactional documents into meaningful marketing communication tools that add value and deepen customer relationships.

The Xeikon 6000 is a web-fed press that is unique in its handling of scalable paper widths of 320 - 508 mm with virtually no restriction in sheet length. Ready to print the longest jobs the fastest on a wide range of paper stocks from 40 - 350 gsm, it can also print on a wide choice of other substrates such as polyester film, transfer material, and label stock, adding a wide assortment of value-generating applications.
The Xeikon 6000 requires no special environmental permits for its use. Its closed loop cooling system means no external water supply or waste water outlet is required. Moreover, no exceptional safety precautions have to be implemented, so the Xeikon 6000 allows you to be commercially productive in no time at all. Its environment-friendliness (e.g. no VOC emission) qualifies it for investment subsidies in certain countries. Finally, the Xeikon 6000 complies with an extensive list of international regulations such as CE, GS and FCC. The environment does not stop before or during printing. The printed matter is also guaranteed paper recyclable and the toner materials do not contain harmful chemicals.
