Strategic acquisitions aimed at expanding Xeikon’s product offerings and reinforcing its dedication to the label and packaging markets
Eede, The Netherlands, Jan 09, 2012 - Xeikon, an innovator in digital color printing technology, announced today that the company has acquired the Flexolaser technology and business from RSD Technik GmbH and Flexolaser GmbH, leading manufacturers of computer-to-plate (CtP) devices for both flexo and letterpress applications.
Xeikon also announced today to have acquired the rights to the Trademark Thermoflex from Eastman Kodak.
Both these individual transactions were signed towards the end of 2011 under conditions that all the involved parties agreed to keep confidential.

At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of 15 November 2011, the Punch Graphix nv companyname was changed to Xeikon N.V.
The management believes that the company name Xeikon fits more closely with the Xeikon brand, which
has a strong reputation on the market.
At NYSE Euronext in Amsterdam, Xeikon 's CFO Kees Vlasblom led the 'gong ceremony' to celebrate the new name Xeikon N.V (Stock code XEI)

Xeikon gets Graydon’s ‘financially healthy company’ award
Eede, The Netherlands, 24 November 2011 – Xeikon recently received the Graydon award to indicate that it is a financially healthy company and reliable to do business within its industry. This is in line with the recent announcement of its tripled net profit and 16% EBITDA growth in comparison with 2010.

Revenues show strong growth, especially in the US, as more customers put increasingly more work on Xeikon presses
Eede, the Netherlands – September 07, 2011 – Xeikon International BV tripled its net profit from Euro 1.7 million (~USD 2.4 million) in the first half of 2010 to Euro 5.9 million (~USD 8.2 million) during the same period in 2011. The groups operational cash flow (EBITDA) rose 16%, from Euro 12.2 million (~USD 17 million) in the first half of 2010 to Euro 14.2 million (~USD 19.9 million) during the same period in 2011. These strong results can be mainly attributed to the revenue growth of Xeikon digital printing product line, especially in the USA.

Labelsprint Ltd, Rhyl, North Wales, has announced the purchase of the UK’s first Xeikon 3500 digital colour label press. The machine, officially launched to the UK market at IPEX 2010, provides for a wider media width than other Xeikon label presses, offering Labelsprint significant opportunities to run both wider and longer label runs and to print smaller format products more efficiently and more cost effectively. “I knew when we were being shown the Xeikon 3500 for the very first time at an industry demonstration in Belgium that it was the machine that we needed to rise above the rest of the digital market,” said Gary Lovell, Sales Director of Labelsprint.
