Xeikon presses include highly unique features and some of our customers use them to their full extent, in very creative ways indeed. At times it really seems the possibilities are only limited by human imagination.

Here is an anthology of applications that have originated out of our customers’ creativity and which were developed with the help of our engineers. All these applications have been successfully commercialised, opening up new marketing and business opportunities.

Transfer printing

Transfer printing is a printing technique used to decorate objects, when printing directly onto the object is not feasible. In a first step, the design is printed on a suitable substrate. In a second step, the design is transferred onto the desired object by means of the substrate, applying heat and/or pressure. This technique is being used to create personalised images on CD’s, pens, one-of-a-kind tennis rackets, textile transfer printing, etc.

Stamps

Personalised stamps, whether for private or commercial use are a great feature to touch up your mailing. You can send any picture you like via the Internet to the Belgian Post, and have your very own stamp created for yours or your company’s season’s greetings cards. Tickets

Personalised football tickets with visual indication of the reserved seat to prevent counterfeiting and black market sales are printed on security substrate on a Xeikon colour press.
